QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
Master's Degree, CAGS, or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and evaluation procedures Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal skills Reports to: Building Principal

Salary/Benefits:
Consistent with the negotiated educator salary schedule
Performance Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological, educational, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations for students referred for special education services Interpret evaluation results and prepare written reports in compliance with DESE and federal guidelines Participate as an active member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team process Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral interventions and support plans Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and other intervention frameworks Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and counseling support as appropriate Collaborate with school staff and outside agencies to coordinate services for students and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, and reports Participate in professional development and district initiatives Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services or building administration
Physical and Environmental Demands:

Ability to work in a normal classroom, office and school building environment. Ability to move freely about the building to perform duties with staff. Ability to utilize computers and other administrative technologies appropriate to the position. The Superintendent may waive or modify the qualification requirements.
