1st shift Commercial Custodian

Hours:

7AM-3:30 PM Duties Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with light maintenance duties like changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to facilities management. Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleaning or floor care. Maintain cleanliness standards according to safety guidelines and company policies while working efficiently on assigned shifts. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations for a secure facility. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings preferred; experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, or extractors safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Pay:
