1st Shift Optical Material Handler

Opportunity for a Material Handler to join the logistics team. This opportunity will be working 1st shift hours. Role and responsibilities Clean and package material per specification for safe shipment. Monitor for and report damaged / defective materials (or questionable) to department Supervisor. Participate in area Job Hazard Analysis. Required to make pick up and deliveries within the ASML campus. Data entry and record retention. Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition Adhere to all safety regulations and make recommendations. Required to operate company equipment such as hand truck, hoists, trolley's, fork truck Education and experience High School Diploma or GED Required Experience in Material Handling General computer proficiencies. SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word a plus. At least 4 months previous experience as a Material Handler at ASML. Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Can work under deadlines. The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level. Must be willing to work 2nd shift hours from Tuesday through Saturday and be flexible to convert to a compressed work week schedule - twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.
