Basic Function The manufacturing kitting department lead is responsible for running a work cell of 6 associates. The lead reviews the manufacturing dashboard using the information to create, prioritize and build manufacturing orders (MO s). Kitting operations involve receiving orders and reviewing in the ERP system, picking components using an RF device, assembling kits, labeling/packing kits and shipping. The lead is responsible for planning and executing the MO build schedule and managing activities related to inventory control. Communication skills are critical, the lead works with their department, the overall operations team and associates from the sales organizations within the business. Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (flexibility needed for this position) Pay is $24.08 an hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prioritizing MO s for team Balancing workload across team members and business units Order accuracy

• build quantity and job specifications Monitoring inventory
• communicating out of stock components to supply chain team Performing timely transactions
• completing the MO s and recording the time required to build the MO Validating labels/packaging documentation Sending weekly status reports on progress, inventory issues and weekly output Maintains safety, quality, and delivery standards set forth by warehouse management Managing movement of finished goods to forwarding shipping entity

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED. SAP experience preferred Desire to work organized and positive warehouse environment. Attention to detail and good time management skills Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
