1st Shift Wood Shop Machine Operator

Job Description :

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking wood fabricators to join our team in the manufacture of athletic training and locker room equipment. Wood fabricators will be responsible for producing finished products through several types of assembly and manufacturing. Will train. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities:

Measure, Mark, and cut wood and wood-based materials using saws, routers, planers, and other shop equipment. Assemble wood parts and components using fasteners, clamps, and jigs according to work orders and blueprints. Inspect Materials for Defects and ensure all parts meet quality and dimensional standards. Operate and maintain woodworking machinery safely and effectively. Read and Interpret Drawings, Cut Lists, and Assembly Instructions. Sand, Finish, and Prepare pieces for Finishing. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all shop safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a high level of mechanical aptitude Applications must have effective communication skills Applicants must have basic computer knowledge Applicants must be detail oriented, dependable, and work well in a team environment. Applicants must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low, work at a constant pace, and lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Valid Driver's License Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards Build products within time standards Adhere to safety standards and requirements

Preferred Experience:

Experience with Table saws, Miter Saws, Hand Routers, Planers. Knowledge of woodworking Joinery and Finishing Techniques Forklift and Material handling

Experience Qualifications:

1-3 Years of woodworking, carpentry, or manufacturing experience. Ability to read a tape measure and use hand/power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Basic Math and Measurement skills. Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently, or in a team-oriented environment.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
