$2000 sign on bonus---Relief RN Mental Health

The Trempealeau County Health Care Center has an opening for a Full-Time Relief RN in Whitehall. The position will be working at our main facility, the behavioral health units. Primarily 2nd shift; occasional overnight shifts may be scheduled. 80 hours per pay period. Every other weekend, every other holiday.

97 - $42.27/hr. (Based on education and experience)

Responsibilities:

• Professional leader leading by example.
• Collaborate with other units to ensure resident care is being followed.
• Discuss staff problems/concerns and refer to the Nursing Director as appropriate.
• Advise for treatments and medications in accordance with medical staff policies in the absence of a physician.
• Performs hands-on care and monitors for compliance with infection control and good quality standards.
• Observe the emotional/physical stability of residents, note their progress/lack of progress, and teach/prepare them for discharge.
• Directly supervises staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities.
• Psychiatric assessment skills, psychotropic medication knowledge, psychiatric behavior mgmt.
• The ability to use first aid, oxygen, suction, and other equipment is required in nursing care. Education/Experience
• Current RN
• Current Licensure by State Board of Nursing.
