CRAIG COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

•12 Months 2026-2027 School Year The Craig County School Board in Virginia is seeking to secure a highly qualified applicant for Craig County High School that is available for the 2026•2027 school year. We are looking for an individual with: Successful experience planning and implementing instructional initiatives Experience with the implementation of state and federal requirements including Virginia Standards of Learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Understand the importance of school accreditation and ability to work with parents and staff as a team to maintain this standard Teaching and administrative experience preferred Record of success in establishing an effective learning environment and maintaining high standards of student conduct Familiarity with the use of technology in curriculum, instruction, and administration A collaborative leadership style Dependability and punctuality

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in School Administration or Curriculum and Instruction Hold or be eligible for a Virginia license with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision•PreK-12 Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in implementing educational programs

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years full time teaching experience and an assistant principal and/or principal experience preferred. Experience at the secondary level.

2026•2027 School Year 12-Month Professional salary scale with benefits
