POSITION

Speech & Language Pathologist - Student Services

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university specific to Speech Pathology or related, field and qualify for teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.

REQUIRED LICENSE

Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education with endorsement in Speech & Language Impairments. Hold a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or an equivalent license from the Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Board.

DEFINITION

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic, remedial and consultative services for students with receptive/expressive communicative disorders.

CURRENT SALARY

$49,049 minimum - $95,806 depending on experience and education, scheduled 183 days per year. (•Additional pay: SB500 funds will be added for the 26-27 school year)
