EAS or ESY Site Administrator Job Description :
Develop lessons based on IEP goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of students. Provides direct instruction using a variety of techniques. Communicates with the school team, parents, guardians and outside agencies as necessary, regarding student progress. Ensures modification and accommodations are implemented throughout the day. Manages student behavior; follows behavior plans, implements behavior contracts, sets up classroom behavior plans. Use district approved tools to design small group instruction. Provide differentiated instruction based on identified student needs. Maintain student attendance and progress data. Complete ESY progress reports at the end of the program, uploaded on CT-SEDS and provided to Parents/Guardians/Surrogates. Use technologies as appropriate to the learning needs of the student. Able to effectively use Google Classroom, Kami, and navigate Atlas curriculum sites. Other duties assigned by the summer school administrator Preferred candidates will be considered for employment
Certification:
Applicants must have appropriate special education certification for position seeking.
Salary:
Per WTA Contract Maximum hours are stated above. PART V
