The Director of Total Pr od uctive Maintenance (TPM) leads the strategy, governance, and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs across a GMP ‑ reg ulat ed life sciences manufacturing network. This role ensures that equipment, utilities, and facilities operate at peak reliability to support uninterrupted production of life ‑ saving therapies. The Dir ector driv es a culture of operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain. This position reports to the VP, Engineering and is part of the Global Engineering Team . In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Enterpris e TPM Strateg y & Governance Provi de enterprise leadership for the TPM strategy, ensuring alignment with manufacturing performance, quality systems, regulatory expectations, and long ‑ term business objectives, including asset lifecycle and modernization planning. + Maintenance Operating Model & Programs Establish and govern standardized preventive, predictive, and condition ‑ based maintenance frameworks for GMP equipmen t, clean util ities, and critical infrastructure across sites. + Reliability & Operational Performance Lead enterprise reliability and operational excellence initiatives, leveraging RCM, RCA, and FMEA to improve asset availability, reduce unplanned downtime, and drive sustained performance improvement. + TPM Pillars & Culture of Continuous Improvement Sponsor and embed TPM pillars—including Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Early Equipment Management—driving accountability, operator ownership, and continuous improvement culture. + Regulatory Compliance & Risk Oversight Maintain executive accountability for maintenance compliance with cGMP, GxP, EHS, and global regulatory standards, overseeing audit readiness, inspection support, and critical asset risk management. + Digital Enablement & Systems O ptimization Direct the enterprise CMMS/EAM and digital maintenance strategy, ensuring data integrity, asset visibility, and adoption of advanced technologies to improve reliability, cost, and decision ‑ making. + People, Stakeholder & External Partnership Leadership Lead and devel op maintenance leadership teams while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and key vendors/OEMs to align priorities, optimize shutdown exe cution, and sup port enterprise objectives. The essential requirements of the job include : + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or related field. + 10+ years of maintenance, engineering, or operations experience in a GMP life sciences environment (biotech, pharma, medical devices). + 5+ years of leadership experienc e managing multi ‑ site or large ‑ scale maintenance programs. + Strong knowledge of TPM methodologies, reliability engineering, and

CMMS/EAM

systems. + Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime in regulated manufacturing.

if applicable for role + Ability to travel ~30-40% if located in the Chaska, MN area , and ~ 50-70% if remote. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Master's degree in Engineering, Operat ions, or Busine ss. + Certifications such as CMRP, CRE, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma. + Experience with biologics, sterile manu facturin g, or high ‑ complexity production environments. + Familiarity with digital maintenance technologies and Industry 4.0 applications. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the tim e of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
