SUMMER TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION

Technology Director Pay Range:
$15.01 The person hired for this position will assist the District Tech Services team with tasks such as interactive TV installation, camera installation, cabling, recycling of old tech, etc. The applicant will ideally have prior experience working or volunteeering with the Tech Dept. This person in this position will work approxmately 20 hours / week from June 3rd - July 31st 2026.
SUMMARY:
Installing new equipment, removing old equipment, unboxing new products, preparing old equipment for recycling.
Job will include:
lifting, being above the ground on ladders and/or lifts, using tools (including power tools)
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Ability to promote and follow building and departmental policies Apply and follow all school district policies and state of Iowa laws.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Listed below are the essential tasks required for this job. Job Tasks Descriptions 1. Diagnose and determine problems with Chromebooks, MacBooks, iPads, and PC equipment and systems; determine reason(s) for equipment failure and initiate appropriate action. 2. Utilize the Help Desk Tickets system to monitor and respond to technology repair and service needs. 3. Adapt, learn and support ongoing changes for technology initiatives. 4. Perform other duties as assigned.
