POSITION SUMMARY

Environmental Services Technicians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Hospital.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Working knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning procedures Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions Education/Certifications/Licenses N/A Ability to integrate age-appropriate specific needs of the patient and visitor Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Empty Trash Cleaning of patient rooms thoroughly by mopping floors, washing beds, cleaning and washing all furniture and cleaning and washing all bathroom fixtures. Cleaning of all public areas and Bathrooms Cleaning of all Clinics, Lab, Xray, Surgical areas and Kitchen Reporting repairs needed to Supervisor

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

Lifting up to 35 pounds frequently Push/Pull up to 25 lbs of horizontal push/pull force at 45 degree angle Reaching occasionally above shoulder height Squatting occasionally Walking continuously Occasional stair climbing Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
