21st CCLC Site Coordinator Warren Community Elementary School Mon-Thur Summer 8:30 am-2:30pm, SY 3 pm- 5:30pm Reports to: District Coordinator Funded by: 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant (anticipated opening)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or higher preferred but not necessary, Community Education or related field experience: DESE training preferred but not necessary. MA DESE Certification Preferred but not requiredExperience:
Experience overseeing school-based and school-related programming for students, successful experience working with at-risk students and families, excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds. DESE Training in High Quality Project Based Learning or Service Learning preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Training:
Attend required DESE Training and Winter Institute Provide PD to staff and ensure staff attend DESE PD and Winter InstituteLeadership and Supervision:
- Responsible for the management and supervision of the day-to-day operation of the 21 Century Community Learning Center Program
- Responsible for assuring high-quality program services and support to enrolled children and their families and sufficient levels of communication.
APT-O, 4
times per year and submit by deadline to District Coordinator- Submit all paperwork by deadlines to District Coordinator
- Supervise instructional, non-instructional staff, interns, and students who are participating
- Supervise enrichment, recreational and academic work and lessons.
- Ensure that staff and programmatic activities comply with school district and 21 Century Community Learning Center rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Lead and facilitate ongoing planning efforts of staff and community partners to achieve academic and social outcomes (SAYO) Outcomes)
- Ensure establishment of procedures to adequately document program activities and services.
- Ensure individual student and programmatic evaluation activities are consistently implemented.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings and program refinement sessions to achieve continuous improvement in project activities and impact.
- Acquire additional services and supports for program participants as needed to achieve project goals and impact.
- Engage in coaching, problem solving/conflict resolution activities as needed to ensure effective program operation and high levels of staff and partner performance.
- Ensure students have snack
- Take daily attendance and calculate monthly to submit to district coordinator
- Pass out SAYOS to teachers and staff, collect SAYOs, Fill out SAYO reporting form and submit to district coordinator by the deadline
Recruitment, Coordination and Collaboration:
Create registration form, get out to all K-6th graders and parents- Coordination and integration of staff and partners to achieve intended academic, enrichment and social emotional outcomes.
- Collaborate with community agencies to provide appropriate extra-curriculum activities
- Identify and train support staff, volunteers, parent liaisons, and community partners to implement academic, recreation, and enrichment activities under the grant guidelines.
- Work with District Coordinator to collect data necessary for program evaluation
Communication:
- Develop and maintain a high level of communication and positive relationships with District Coordinator, principal, teachers, office staff, custodians, and after school staff.
- Provide on-going family involvement activities, services and special events.
- Respond promptly and courteously to parent concerns.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and performance.
- Utilize technology where possible in communications, reports data entry/interpretation and planning.

Salary:
