CDL Class B Flatbed Driver (Independent Contractor)

[Glenn Falls,Ny] Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and professional CDL Class B Driver to join our logistics team. This position is designed for a reliable professional who excels at independent work and values operational autonomy. You will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of goods using a 22-foot flatbed truck and a truck-mounted forklift.

Key Responsibilities Transportation & Delivery:

Safely operate a 22 FT flatbed truck for Local deliveries and pickups.

Precision Unloading:

Utilize a forklift to unload goods at customer sites. All unloads must be performed on paved surfaces only (left or right side of driveway).

Safety & Compliance:

Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Adhere to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.

Digital Documentation:

Maintain accurate records and capture proof-of-delivery photos via a dedicated mobile application.

Professional Representation:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure order accuracy. Requirements Licensing:

Valid CDL Class B License.

Drug Screening:

Must pass a comprehensive drug screen, including testing for marijuana and other narcotics.

Driving History:

A clean motor vehicle record (MVR) is required.

Background:

Must pass a standard background check.

Professionalism:

Proven track record of reliability and clear communication.
