2nd or 3rd Shift Plater (2pm to 10pm) (10PM to 6AM)

About Us Modern Plating Corporation is a leading electroplating company serving the automotive and industrial markets. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plater to join our production team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Job Summary As a Plater, you will operate electroplating equipment according to process instructions to meet or exceed production and quality standards. You'll play a vital role in maintaining safe operations, inspecting finished parts, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Shift Premium pay is $0.65 per hour for 3rd shift, $0.60 for 2nd Shift Responsibilities Operate assigned plating lines and follow detailed process instructions Load and unload parts safely into equipment Monitor line performance and perform basic troubleshooting Conduct quality checks and record results accurately Make required chemical adds safely and per guidelines Complete daily production documentation Scan orders in/out using computer system Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S standards) Safely operate a forklift (certification provided) Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a manufacturing setting Ability to read process plans and perform quality inspections Basic computer skills for scanning and documentation Willingness to work overtime and different shifts Forklift experience a plus (we will certify if needed)
