Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and development as a skilled Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Three positions are available, each offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in school settings for the 2026/2027 school year. Help foster independence and academic success by providing essential OT services to students with diverse needs. Here's what you'll bring to the role: Active Illinois OT or COTA licensure, or eligibility to obtain before start Previous experience delivering OT services in K-12 environments (preferred) Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers and staff Commitment to student progress and evidence-based therapy interventions Adaptability and a positive, student-focused attitude Key responsibilities include: Assessing and evaluating students' functional abilities, needs, and progress Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Providing direct therapy services in both individual and small group formats Tracking student progress, documentation, and updating IEPs as required Consulting with educators and families to support student goals Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams Available positions span three locations: Lake in the
Hills, IL:
Work with a caseload of 20 students, 15 hours/week
Morton Grove, IL:
Support 20 students, 15 hours/week
Rockford, IL:
