2nd Shift Custodian

Custodian - Full Time Position 2nd Shift 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. May 8, 2026

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Building and Grounds Supervisor the Custodian will maintain the physical school facilities in a condition of operating excellence, cleanliness and safety, so that full educational use of them may be made always.

Qualifications:

Required:

Satisfactory school or previous employment records High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Characteristics:

Minimum of two years experience in related field Evidence of ability to learn procedures and operations Evidence of satisfactory work habits Satisfactory attendance record The ability to lift up to 50 pounds Prior work or volunteer experience with children Demonstrated successful communication skills with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community members

Duties:

Ability to read and interpret written and verbal instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals Performs routine tasks of daily cleaning Maintain appearance of building, inside and out, and provide routine repairs as needed Maintain building security Other duties as assigned
