- Not an Alternative Work Schedule Responsibilities Load and unload aluminum cylinders and related products onto and off of machines in sanding, hydro, and washing operations.
Palletize finished and in-process products in an organized and safe manner. Label products accurately to ensure proper identification and traceability. Tend machines by monitoring operation, feeding parts, and responding to basic issues as they arise. Handle parts and products weighing approximately 30-50 lbs consistently throughout the shift. Follow directions from supervisors and trainers to learn and apply new processes and procedures. Maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Support cross-functional production needs by working in different departments as assigned. Follow safety guidelines when working around machinery and industrial equipment. Assist with unloading racks and materials, including occasional work outside when needed. Essential Skills Ability to lift and handle 30-50 lbs consistently throughout the workday. At least 6 months of manufacturing or warehouse experience. Comfort working in a manufacturing environment and around industrial machinery. Ability to maintain focus and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting. Willingness and ability to take direction and learn new processes. Reliability and flexibility to work 2nd shift hours and occasional Saturday overtime. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general labor, production, or machine operating in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with tasks such as loading, unloading, palletizing, labeling, and machine tending. Comfort working with metal or similar industrial products. Work Environment This role is based in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing facility that produces aluminum cylinders ranging from approximately 3 lbs to 60 lbs, with most products between 3 and 25 lbs. The environment includes active machinery and equipment, with frequent movement of parts and products. The position is on 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (10-hour shifts), with the flexibility to work an additional 6 hours on occasional Saturdays. Temperatures inside the facility generally reflect outdoor conditions; when it is hot outside, it will be hot inside, and roll-up doors are opened to improve airflow. Some racks and materials may be unloaded outside, so employees should bring warm clothing such as a jacket or sweatshirt when weather is cooler. The work involves standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift while working safely around machinery and production lines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden Grove, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
