Personal Care Workers We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers (PCWs) for our second-shift team. The ideal candidates will be strongly committed to providing high-quality care to residents in long-term care, assisted living, or home and community care settings. This role involves supporting individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or memory impairments, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. The PCW will work closely with residents to support daily activities, medication management, and social engagement, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

Pay:

$17.10 - $18.12 per hour Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and record vital signs accurately to support ongoing health assessments. Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing behavior management strategies to promote well-being. Support residents' nutritional needs by preparing meals and assisting with feeding as required, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control standards. Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support to foster a positive community atmosphere. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans aligned with each resident's needs. Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living, or home & community care environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of caregiving practices includes assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
