CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Vertical Machining CenterMonday-Friday Norfab Machine Inc. is a family-owned and operated machine shop that has proudly served Green Bay and the surrounding areas since the late 1960s. We are currently seeking a motivated CNC Machinist to join our team. This role is ideal for early-career machinists looking to continue building their skills through hands-on work, training, and ongoing support.

What You'll Learn & Do:

Learn to set up and operate a Vertical Machining Center (VMC). Assist with fixture placement, tool setting, and program loading. Perform basic adjustments under supervision to meet print specifications. Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality. Learn to read blueprints, work orders, and tool sheets. Deburr, clean, and visually inspect finished parts. Complete basic documentation and communicate with team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Education & Experience:

Job shop machining: 1-3 years (preferred) /

CNC Education:

1 year (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent required. Willingness to learn CNC operation, setup, and basic machining concepts. Ability to learn blueprint reading, basic math, measurements, and tolerances. Interest in using precision measuring tools (training provided)

Physical Requirements:

$18-25 per hour

Health Insurance:

Available to full-time employees (employee contributes 30% of premium)

Overtime:

Typically available and paid for all hours worked over 40 per week

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
