To learn more about our company, please visit our website at www.securityengineersinc.com Security Engineers, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Skills / Requirements 2nd Shift Monday(3pm-1:30am), Tuesday(2pm-6pm), Wednesday(1pm-6pm), Thursday(3pm-6pm) & Friday(2pm-6pm) Role Overview Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Utility Rover Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Minimum Qualifications Must have or be able to obtain an ASRB License Must be at least 18 years old Must have and maintain a Valid DL and clean MVR Duties & Responsibilities Patrol & Surveillance- Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns
- Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
- Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity Incident Response & Reporting
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
- Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors) Customer Service & Policy Enforcement
- Assist visitors and employees professionally
- Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
- Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking) Required Skills & Abilities Minimum
- Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Weekend availability
- Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
- Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting Preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements (subject to change based on client-specific needs)
- Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
- Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
- Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping Education & Experience Minimum
- High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
- 1+ Year of Verifiable Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience
- 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
