Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (or related field) Valid state-issued teaching license Pass the required Expanded Criminal History Check Proficiency in using educational technology Ability to display responsibility, initiative, productivity, and cooperation
Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum and state standards while meeting the learning needs of each student Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment by using a variety of instructional methods and resources Assessing students' progress and adjusting lessons and/or providing remediation as needed Communicating with parents to discuss their child's academic progress and behavior Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a safe and respectful classroom environment Providing individualized instruction to meet the needs of students with varying intellectual and physical abilities Collaborating with other teachers, administrators, and staff to improve overall student performance and school quality Participating in professional development to stay updated with new teaching methodologies and educational trends Demonstrate patience and flexibility when working with children and their diverse needs Other duties as assigned
