Duties Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring and system setup Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks Measure electrical parameters using tools like ohmmeters and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage systems Support the wiring of low voltage systems such as security alarms, communication lines, and control circuits Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure all work complies with safety regulations Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when necessary Requirements Currently enrolled in or completed 3rd or 4th year of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program Demonstrated industrial electrician experience or commercial electrician experience is highly desirable Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading for electrical systems Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety protocols Knowledge of low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and NEC standards Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical schematics Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation required This paid apprenticeship provides an excellent pathway for aspiring electricians eager to build a robust skill set in a fast-paced environment.
