Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a dynamic educational environment near Mount Berry, GA. This opportunity offers several contract-based roles for the upcoming school year, spanning Pre K through 12th grade, with immediate openings for both summer services and academic-year coverage.
Key Opportunities Available:
Provide compensatory services as a traveling SLP, supporting multiple school sites and a diverse caseload covering all grade levels (Pre K-12). Summer engagement from June 1-June 30 is required, with manageable student numbers while you focus on critical compensatory needs. Serve as an on-site SLP at either the elementary (Pre K-6th grade) or middle school (6th-8th grade) level, assigned to one school location with a caseload ranging from 45-55 students. These positions emphasize ongoing documentation, evaluations, and student progress.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and active state licensure. Experience working with children across a broad range of grade levels. Proficiency in Paddynet for documenting service delivery, IEPs, progress, and evaluations. Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with parents, teachers, and administrators via phone, email, and school systems. Strong ability to coordinate and manage schedules, including IEP meetings and parent conferences, utilizing Google Calendar. Team-oriented, detail-focused, and adaptable to various school settings. Flexibility to travel between school sites (for compensatory/travel positions).
