3rd Shift Mill Technician

Come join our family! We are proud to be a 6th generation family owned and operated business located in Berks County, PA. We are seeking a highly motivated and self-disciplined Mill Technician to join our Flour Milling Operation in Fleetwood.

• This is a 3rd shift position
• SUMMARY The Mill Technician role is the entry level position that performs a variety of tasks to maintain the operation and sanitation of the flour mill.

Reasonable career progression would be Mill Technician, Assistant Miller, then Flour Miller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the milling operations as needed.
• Responsible for cleaning mill floors and stairwells.
• Cleans off structural ledges and overheads throughout the mill.
• Cleans Restrooms.
• Cleans power rooms.
• Collects and removes trash from the building.

• The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Language Skills

• Required to stand; walk; climb; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent need to talk or hear. Occasional need to sit, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to focus. Work Environment
• While working in this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee will be exposed to wheat dust. The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
• such as heat and cold.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate but can be loud at times. Willing and able to work with wheat products i.e. no wheat /gluten sensitivity.
