ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs all tasks in a safe manner. Complies with all plant and company safety programs. Working closely with customer service and planning department for customer needs related to Q/A. Inspecting (auditing) all production lines pulling production samples and completing specification measurements Pulling and reviewing customer samples from WIP, Finished Goods & Raw material warehouses. Scanning production documents into Docushare. On shift verification QA hold paperwork and actions are taking place daily Retrieval and counting of product and packing containers for sample shipments. Standard department organization. Inspect and prepare color standards for plate room and presses. (Reviewing color) Pull press sheets daily from printing presses for inspection and paperwork scanning daily. Assist in sorting product in QA hold or inner department when needed. General office duties to include, extensive computer data entry, filing. Investigate internal & external complaints Miscellaneous duties- filling safety supplies, assisting QA techs, Supervisor, Manager, Q/A supply ordering, etc. Working knowledge of
Qualifications:
Requires near/far acuity. Must have good vision and color perception. Must be detail oriented. Must have basic computer skills for data entry purposes. Must be able to learn to use SPC (Statistical Process Control) procedures. Requires the ability to communicate effectively with others. Work overtime as required to meet customers' needs. Ability to be a problem solver in a fast-paced environment. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Manufacturing or Quality Control experience required. Must have good working knowledge of Excel and Word. EOE Join us. Help protect food, people and the planet .
