Duties Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education Incorporate innovative learning technologies and teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and create an inclusive environment for all students, including those with special needs or autism Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments, including standardized testing preparations Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who need extra help in literacy education, math, or early intervention programs Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school initiatives, and extracurricular activities such as library services or physical education classes Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants, sharing best practices in classroom management and instructional techniques Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications preferred Valid state teaching license for elementary education with specialization in early childhood education or equivalent credentials Proven classroom experience working with children in grades 3-5, demonstrating strong classroom management skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience working with diverse learners including those with special education needs or working with individuals with autism Proficiency in learning technology tools and educational software to support interactive lessons Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and preparing students for standardized testing Join us to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives!
