We are looking for an educator who can create a structured and positive classroom environment while helping students grow academically, socially, and personally. The ideal candidate will bring strong classroom management skills, professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to connect with middle school students in a meaningful and respectful way. 1508 Warrensville Center Rd Cleveland Heights, OH 44121 ?Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities Teach core General Studies subjects including English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies as assigned Plan and implement engaging, organized, and age-appropriate lessons Differentiate instruction to support a range of academic abilities and learning styles Foster critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing skills, and problem-solving abilities Establish and maintain clear classroom routines, expectations, and structure Create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents Collaborate with administration, co-teachers, and support staff Participate in meetings, planning, and school initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Education or related field preferred) Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a classroom effectively while building positive relationships with students Comfortable working in a team-oriented school environment Ability to balance warmth, structure, and accountability Preferred Qualities Passion for education and student growth Strong leadership and classroom presence Flexibility and willingness to collaborate Ability to motivate and engage middle school students Creative and proactive approach to teaching and problem-solving What We Offer Supportive and involved administration Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives Positive, values-driven school culture Ability to help shape and grow the General Studies program Collaborative and supportive work environmentSimilar remote jobs
