REQUIREMENTS

Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate. At least three years of successful teaching experience preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Shall be able to instruct students in a fifth grade classroom setting individually and in group settings. Shall have the leadership ability and skill necessary to organize, implement, maintain, and evaluate a comprehensive fifth grade program. Shall have the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors and parents. Shall have the knowledge of theories of learning appropriate for fifth grade.
