The teacher helps students develop literacy, critical thinking, and communication abilities necessary for academic success and everyday life. 🎯 Primary Responsibilities 📖 Instruction & Curriculum Plan and deliver engaging lessons in: Reading comprehension Writing (narrative, argumentative, informational) Grammar, vocabulary, and language conventions Align instruction with Arkansas academic standards Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs 🧠 Literacy Development Teach students to: Analyze texts and identify themes Support ideas with evidence Develop clear and structured writing Foster a love of reading and writing 👩‍🏫 Classroom Management Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment Establish clear expectations and routines Support student behavior and engagement 🤝 Communication & Collaboration Communicate regularly with parents/guardians Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff Participate in meetings and professional development
