As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping the facility and equipment running smoothly. You'll work closely with operations management to ensure safety compliance, minimize downtime, and maintain a productive environment that benefits everyone. What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for: Performing general maintenance on manufacturing facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing company vehicles, forklifts, and machinery to reduce breakdowns. Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other system issues and completing repairs promptly. Installing and commissioning new equipment, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met. Conducting routine safety checks, including fire pump testing and extinguisher inspections. Completing plumbing, electrical, painting, and general construction repairs as needed. Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes. Coordinating with outside vendors for specialized repairs and equipment services. Managing tools, inventory, and shop organization to improve efficiency. Ensuring proper disposal of oils, fluids, and other regulated materials following environmental safety standards. Following all safety protocols, including PPE use and lockout/tagout procedures, to maintain a safe work environment. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: Prior experience in general construction, mechanical repair, or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Experience with forklifts, industrial vehicles, and equipment maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot effectively and solve problems independently. Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.
