This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles, including GM models and diesel engines, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, excellent diagnostic skills, and a passion for automotive repair and maintenance. You will be instrumental in delivering top-quality service, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and suspension components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features to ensure modern safety systems function correctly. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to guide repair procedures with precision. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Complete auto estimating tasks accurately for repairs, parts ordering, and service documentation while adhering to dealership standards. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including electrical, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as wheel alignments, engine repairs, welding, and general servicing. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; familiarity with automotive electrical systems is essential. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not mandatory. Strong familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service principles.
