1-5 years of work related experience in General Aviation with Piston, Turbo Prop and Jets. Beechcraft, Cessna, Piper, Cirrus and Socata etc. Must hold a FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or working on training to achieve your
A&P. I.A.
is most preferred but not required. The candidate will also be responsible for inspections, repairs, modifications, periodic maintenance, SCHEDULED & UNSCHEDULED Maintenance and servicing of aircraft. All work will be signed off by his/her own Federal Aviation Association (FAA) Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization (IA) certificate privileges. 1-5+ years General Aviation Jet, Turbo Prop & Piston aircraft experience. Beechcraft, Textron, Piper, Cirrus, Cessna etc. aircraft most preferred. Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Can follow instruction, read, solid comprehensive skills. Good knowledge of F.A.R.' regulations. Experienced with FAA Part 91, Part 43, and Part 65, subpart D regulations. Must have own set of tools and tool box. Strong experienced with reading and understanding maintenance manuals, Illustrated Parts catalogs (IPCs), Service Instructions, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives (AD's) wiring diagrams and schematics. Able to read electric schematics & good skill sets in troubleshoot electrical systems. Experience on TURBINE engines. Experienced and working knowledge of rigging landing gear, and flight control systems. Experience and working knowledge of turbine/reciprocating aircraft engines, hydraulic & mechanical landing gear, instruments, cabin pressurized systems, brakes, set up of fuel systems and air-conditioning systems. Well versed and proficient in both electronic & paper versions of researching any required data in maintenance manuals, illustrated parts manuals, service bulletins and airworthiness directives. Ability to work proficiently on each assigned task with minimal supervision. Ability to accurately sign off all work performed related to the maintenance performed and properly noting items having 8130's and CofC's Assure that all inspections and repairs are properly performed according to current technical data and all inspection records and forms are properly executed prior to the release and return to service of the aircraft. Must have own set of tools and tool box. Plus for those able to perform general sheet metal repairs proficiently. Able to perform all airframe, power plant and propeller scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and modifications required to meet FAA requirements. Can operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment. Ability to Safely Tow and park aircraft with ground support equipment and can communicate with Air Traffic Control via radio is a PLUS. Willingness to perform other aircraft/shop/facility maintenance work, may be required. Maintains a clean and neat work area. Able to lift up to 75 lbs plus bend, squat, knee, work inside of aircrafts in tight spaces. Work schedule will be 5 days, Tuesday thru Saturday ONLY. Paid vacation, sick leave, Medical Insurance.
