Job Description

Category Schools - ABA Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their full potential by bringing your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and behavior intervention to a supportive and dynamic school setting near Compton, CA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year while working closely with educators and families as a Behavior Specialist. What you'll bring: A bachelor's degree or higher with specialization in psychology, education, or a related field Demonstrated experience implementing ABA techniques in a school or pediatric environment Proficiency in conducting behavioral assessments, developing plans, and collecting relevant data Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families Compassionate approach with a commitment to positive student outcomes Ability to adapt to diverse learning and behavioral needs Preference for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or similar credential, though not required Your day-to-day responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments and design tailored behavioral intervention plans Train and support school personnel in best practices for behavior management and ABA strategies Analyze data to monitor progress and modify interventions as needed Provide direct support to students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive learning environments Communicate progress, goals, and strategies with families, ensuring transparency and partnership Participate in meetings to develop and implement IEPs and behavior-related goals Enjoy the benefits of a flexible contract position, giving you the opportunity to balance your professional goals and personal commitments.
