POSITION SUMMARY

(Primary purpose of job, why the job exists at Parkway) This position works in conjunction with the school administration, counselors and teachers to tailor services to meet our student's specific academic needs.

SPHERE AND SCOPE OF INFLUENCE

(Supervisory scope, district impact and budgetary responsibility) This position works directly to impact the work of school level staff in order to meet the academic needs of students. This position will also work with students and communicate with parents and guardians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

(Major duties which the position exists to perform) Serves as the facilitator for the school's in-school suspension classroom. Provides on-site check-ins and academic interventions to support students throughout the day. Provides information to and collaborates regularly with teachers, counselors and administrators to support the academic needs of individual students.
