Our newly opened Seniors Helping Seniors franchise is looking for compassionate mature adults to join our team as in-home caregivers for older adults in our community. Caregiving is a difficult road for many to walk. It can be isolating and overwhelming. We want to remove at least a part of that caregiving burden for the family member so they can just be wife, husband, daugther, son, niece, nephew, grandchild, and/or friend and not have to worry about caregiving, at least for the time we're taking care of their loved one. Job Responsibilities Companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation Medication reminders, running errands, transportation to appointments Assisting with activities of daily living and specialized Alzheimer's/Dementia care Requirements Treat clients with dignity and respect Weekend availability (If applicable) Effective communication skills Valid driver's license and auto insurance Compliance with State of Kansas regulations, DMV check, and drug screening.
