Job Description

ACCOUNT MANAGER
Purpose The purpose of the Account Manager role is to drive sustainable revenue growth by expanding ROF's customer base and strengthening long-term B2B partnerships. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while ensuring new clients experience the high level of service and professionalism that defines ROF. The Account Manager plays a key role in increasing market presence, generating qualified leads, and converting prospects into loyal customers. Main Duties Develop and maintain a robust prospective client database using Salesforce (or similar CRM). Generate and qualify leads through research, networking, and cold outreach, continually feeding the sales pipeline with new opportunities. Source and cultivate client referrals and business partnerships to expand market reach. Prepare strategic sales action plans and schedules to target potential customers and markets. Make sales calls and conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients, introducing them to ROF's products and remanufacturing services. Develop tailored sales proposals, present contracts for signature, and negotiate terms with new clients to close deals. Procure 50% deposits for all new client orders in accordance with company policy. Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns from potential clients — by phone, email, or in person — providing information and reassurance about our offerings. Maintain ongoing communication with prospects over extended sales cycles, nurturing relationships and building trust for long-term partnerships. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for market expansion or product/service differentiation. Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and sales functions to generate new leads and promote ROF's services. Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Design, Account Management) to ensure a smooth onboarding of new clients and that initial orders are delivered to satisfaction. Follow and adhere to all company policies, reporting any violations by others to management immediately. Perform all work in accordance with company standards, with the utmost integrity and honesty. Maintain strict confidentiality with all proprietary company information outside of the organization. Notify your immediate manager of any issue that cannot be resolved or any deadline that cannot be met. Conduct all dealings while representing ROF (e.g., when in ROF uniform or on company time) in a respectful, cooperative, non-confrontational, and professional manner. Always maintain a team-oriented attitude, helping out as needed and wherever necessary.
Qualifications:
Up-to-date on industry trends and knowledgeable about the office furniture remanufacturing process Preferred. 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience (commercial office furniture industry preferred), with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business sales targets. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for managing leads, opportunities, and sales activities. Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday as required to perform job duties.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight for client meetings, trade shows, and business-related events. Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, and mobile devices. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, coworkers, and management. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Ability to operate a motor vehicle as required for business purposes. Visual, auditory, and cognitive ability sufficient to perform job duties, including reviewing documents, conducting presentations, and participating in meetings.
