Job DescriptionJob Description The Accountant plays a critical role within a large team dedicated to ensuring financial compliance, managing budgets, and providing detailed financial analysis and reporting. This position primarily utilizes Excel and other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records, prepare for audits, and support the overall financial health of the organization across various industries.

Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial reports and general ledger entries Manage budgeting processes and monitor budget adherence Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making Assist in audit preparation and ensure compliance with regulations Be responsible in manage or oversee payroll, ensuring accurate employee compensation, tax withholdings, and regulatory compliance Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in accounting roles Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA certification Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and tax preparation Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Effective time management and communication abilities Company DescriptionAlley Pond is redefining what a golf experience looks like in New York.
