• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our dynamic financial team.

In this vital role, you will manage a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various financial processes. Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks, EasyAcct, or similar platforms. Reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Processing payrolls. Assist with tax preparation and compliance by maintaining detailed records of financial transactions and supporting documentation. Prepare financial reports. Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping roles with a strong understanding of GAAP and governmental accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software such as EasyAcct, QuickBooks, or similar platforms;. Familiarity with completing payrolls & payroll tax reports is preferred. Knowledge of technical accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing skills preferred). Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. 2 or 4 year accounting degree is desirable, but not required. Experience working in public accounting is desirable but not required.
