Schedule/Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Rotating on-call responsibilities, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license Comprehensive experience in the Operating Room setting, with strong knowledge of perioperative best practices Proficient in AORN standards and surgical patient safety protocols Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism Proven skills in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical tech teams Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Circulate and scrub as required during surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique and patient safety standards Prepare the OR by verifying equipment, instrumentation, and supplies for a wide variety of surgical cases Monitor patients' status intraoperatively and relay pertinent information to surgical and anesthesia teams Document critical perioperative information accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, managing changes in patient condition with clinical expertise Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and care teams This role provides exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties and the chance to develop advanced OR skills in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
