Accountant vacancy in Akron USA

Junior Accountant We are a growing accounting firm in Akron looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Conducting basic audits of financial records
• Assisting with tax preparation and filing
• Communicating with clients regarding their financial information
• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently enrolled in an accredited program)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or other accounting software)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:

• Previous internship or work experience in an accounting role
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
