ACCOUNTING AND OFFICE MANAGER

The Role This isn't your average desk job. As our Accounting and Office Manager, you'll be a cornerstone of our operation; leading a team, owning our financials, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with ownership and have real visibility into the business. If you want a role where your contributions are seen and your voice matters, this is it. What You'll Do Accounting & Finance Analyzes financial statements, converting raw accounting data into actionable insights, identifying trends, and flagging risks. Oversee accounts payable and payroll. Invoice customers for chicks, feed, vaccines, and final pullet invoice. Keep accounts receivable up to date and deliver clear reports to ownership. Make and record daily deposits. Execute month end close; bank reconciliations, month end journal entries, comparative financial statements. Stay on top of bank accounts, positive pay exceptions, loan balances, and payment accuracy. Build and develop your accounting team; hire, train, and lead them well. Assist human resources with visa program administration. Complete and maintain water use reports and water rights. File annual water use report with the State. Assist in maintaining corn and soybean harvest balances. Review all general ledger accounts monthly and at year end to ensure their balances are correct before submitting them to our tax accountants for tax preparation. Flock Management- Assist flock services and scheduling associate with flock management. Ensuring flock information is being collected from barn management and flock reports are being sent to customers. Leadership and Communication
- Maintain an open line of communication with top level management and staff.
- Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, or a similarly hands-on industry.

- Pay depends on experience. Salary range between $80,000-$90,000 per year.
