Accounting Assistant

Job DescriptionJob Description International Freight Forwarder located in Burlingame, California is seeking an Accounting Assistant. Our company provides logistics services for air, ocean, and domestic transportation.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Accounts Receivable processing Accounts Payable processing Journal entry input Bank reconciliations Review and input intra/inter-company settlements Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Accounting or Finance Basic understanding of debit and credit entries Strong working knowledge of Excel (including basic formulas and reconciliation work) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Accurate typing and 10-key skills Organized with ability to prioritize and multitask 1-5 years of hands-on accounting experience (AP/AR, bank reconciliation) preferred Prior logistics/transportation industry experience is a plus
