We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliations. We are open to a part-time Clerk (no benefits package, flexible schedule) OR a full-time Clerk (benefits package, 40/hr week schedule). NHP is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is on-site position. Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately Perform reconciliations and assist in reconciling general ledger accounts Ensure accurate data entry of financial transactions into accounting software Assist with month-end closing procedures Skills High School diploma required Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred Or 1+ years of experience in accounting Willing to substitute education for experience Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel Experience with accounting software Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information Must be able to sit for extended periods of time Optional Equal Opportunity Survey NHP, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
