Accounting Clerk

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting practices and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records, including accounts receivable and general ledger entries. Prepare and analyze financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards. Assist in regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with securities law. Conduct financial report interpretation to support management decision-making. Collaborate with the accounting team to perform technical accounting tasks as needed. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations. Provide assistance in corporate accounting functions and audits as required. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and corporate accounting practices. Familiarity with securities law and regulatory reporting requirements is a plus. Proficiency in financial report writing and interpretation skills. Experience with accounts receivable and general ledger accounting is essential. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
