Accounting Intern

Larson Company is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team. What You ll Do As an Accounting Specialist, you ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations while partnering with teams across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Accounting Supervisor with monthly journal entries and the General Ledger close Collaborating with business units to gather, compile, and consolidate financial data Reconciling general ledger accounts to maintain accurate and timely financial reporting Providing cross‑functional support, including serving as back‑up for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Recording and reconciling company credit card transactions and expense reports Performing daily cash reconciliations Contributing to special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed What You Bring We re looking for someone who combines technical accounting knowledge with a positive, service‑oriented mindset: Strong commitment to delivering excellent internal customer service Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving Collaborative team player who works well across departments Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Experience with accounting and ERP systems preferred (Epicor Prophet 21 a plus)

Education & Experience Preferred:
