Full Job Description Job Summary:

Accountant Supervisor TD Hangar is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant Supervisor to join and lead our team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing timely information to the Director of Accounting to support strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a small team of accounting clerks Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Implement process improvements and automation initiatives Develop and maintain accounting procedure documentation and cross-train accounting staff

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 2+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (preferred) Strong knowledge of accounting principles Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage 100, and Microsoft Excel Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
