Job Description:

We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor with a strong background in manufacturing accounting to lead core financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for overseeing cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, and staff leadership, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting Lead and manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and product costing Maintain and optimize inventory accounting, including valuation, reconciliation, and cycle count processes Develop and enforce strong internal controls, particularly across inventory and manufacturing operations Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team environment Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost visibility and support business performance Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities Qualifications (Required) Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation - required Minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience, including management or supervisory experience Proven experience in a manufacturing environment Strong expertise in inventory accounting and cost accounting Experience managing and developing accounting staff Preferred Skills ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with non-finance stakeholders Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement Why Join Us Opportunity to lead and shape accounting processes within a growing manufacturing organization Collaborative, team-oriented environment Hybrid work flexibility (3 days in-office) Competitive compensation and benefits package Equal Opportunity Employer Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
