Job Description

Job Title:
Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description Join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you will manage day-to-day accounts payable operations for a small manufacturing site. Your role will encompass invoice processing, vendor issue resolution, reconciliations, and month-end close support using Plex ERP. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and enter payables in Plex ERP. Resolve vendor discrepancies and payment inquiries while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Monitor accounts payable aging and produce required reports. Maintain 1099 records and assist with year-end reporting. Reconcile accounts payable-related general ledger accounts and investigate variances. Support month-end close, including accounts payable accruals and journal entries as needed. Process intercompany billings and related entries. Execute check runs and electronic payments in accordance with schedule and controls. Set up and maintain vendor profiles, including onboarding requirements such as W-9 forms and credit references, as well as compliance documentation. Adhere to accounts payable policies and internal controls. Assist with ad hoc reporting and projects. Essential Skills 4+ years of accounts payable experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably small to mid-size. ERP experience is required, with Plex preferred; Epicor or SAP is a plus. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Detail-oriented, organized, and an effective communicator. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with invoice processing and purchase order management. Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records. Associates degree Onsite M-F 8am
