Accounts Payable Clerk

Duties:

• Receive, process, verify and reconcile payable invoices and ensure accuracy
• Charge invoices to account and cost centers
• Ensure credit is received when due
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Perform data entry and analysis tasks as needed
• Utilize 10-key typing skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data
• Proficient in data entry and 10-key typing skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems
• Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation processes
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
